Over the past 3 years, the format market boomed, thanks to 4 star formats : "Who wants to be a millionaire" in the quiz show genre, "Survivor" in the adventure reality game show genre, "Big Brother" in the reality soap genre, "Popstars" in the talent search genre. They have been adapted almost everywhere in the world and successful almost everywhere. Those formats gave birth to a second generation of formats in those genres, in particular the naughty quiz shows "Greed" and "The Weakest Link".
