The results of the first edition of this brand-new event, held in
June 2001, speak for themselves - MITIL, tailored to meet the
needs of local and independent broadcasters, television, radio
and webcasting, has already fulfilled its mission and
accomplished, after just one event, what it set out to do:
namely, be recognised as the annual meeting platform for players
in an industry who, prior to the launching of MITIL, did not have
their own event, dedicated to them and their requirements.
In other words, MITIL has proved its right to exist as the
permanent yearly global fixture which stimulates and facilitates
the networking of a community which continues to become larger,
more inventive and creative.
Motivated by the success of its initiative and the more than
encouraging reaction of the specialised media and the
participants themselves, the organisers are now hard at it
preparing for MITIL 2002.
The new MITIL website will be on-line from January 2002 but,
meanwhile, note the following:
- Radio will play an important part in MITIL's programme planning
for 2002. There will be two main tracks in parallel, with
conferences/discussion forums and workshops, one on radio and the
other on television, led by international experts in both fields.
Watch out for the MITIL 2002 programme in February 2002.
- The Technical Exhibition will be designed to respond to the
specific requirements of both radio and television broadcasters.
- The MITIL Programme Market, with its unmatched on-line
videokiosk, will be a principal feature and offer a wider
panorama of programmes; a call for entries will be made in
January 2002.
- The UNESCO Organisation has chosen to honour the MITIL 2002
edition with its patronage.

Les résultats de la première édition de cette nouvelle
manifestation, qui a eu lieu en juin 2001, sont irréfutables -
le MITIL, une manifestation conçue spécialement pour répondre
aux
besoins des diffuseurs locaux et indépendants (télévision/radio/web)
a déjà, avec une seule édition, rempli sa mission, celle
d'offrir
une tribune annuelle aux acteurs des médias audiovisuels sur le plan
local et indépendant, qui ont enfin un lieu à leur dimension.
Le MITIL a fait valoir son drot d'exister comme l'événement
global et permanent qui stimule et facilite le «networking» d'une
communauté qui ne cesse de s'élargir et qui devient de plus en
plus inventive et créative.
Motivé par le succès de son initiative et de la réaction
plus
qu'encourageante des médias spécialisés et des participants
eux-
mêmes, le Comité d'Organisation travaille intensivement sur la
préparation du MITIL 2002.
Le nouveau site web du MITIL sera en ligne à partir de janvier
2002 mais, pour l'instant, un petit coup d'oeil sur ce qui se
prépare:
- la radio revêtera une importance particulière au MITIL 2002.
Il y aura une catégorie consacrée à la radio, en parallèle
à une
autre sur la télévision, avec des conférences, des forums
de
discussion et des ateliers. Les sessions de ces deux catégories
seront présidées par des experts d'envergure internationale.
Le programme du MITIL 2002 sera disponible en février 2002.
- l'exposition technique sera conçue pour répondre aux besoins
particuliers des acteurs actifs dans les domaines de la radio et
de la télévision indépendante et locale.
- le Marché de Programmes, avec sa vidéothèque électronique
hors
pair, sera un élément principal du MITIL 2002 et mettra à
la
disposition des participants un panorama plus large de
programmes. Un appel pour l'inscription de programmes se fera en
janvier 2002.
- le MITIL 2002 bénéficie d'ores et déjà du haut
patronage de
l'UNESCO.

Die positiven Resultate der ersten Durchführung dieser Messe im
Juni 2001 sprechen für sich. MITIL - der Massanzug für die
unabhängigen lokalen Rundfunk- und Fernsehstationen sowie
Webcasters - hat das Ziel schon bei der ersten Auflage erreicht:
Als Plattform anerkannt zu werden, wo es auf diesem spezifischen
Gebiet bis anhin keine solche gab.
Anders ausgedrückt: MITIL hat den Standort erreicht, der
unumgängliche, jährliche Treffpunkt zu werden, der das "Net-
Working" einer ständig wachsenden, mehr und mehr kreativen
Gemeinschaft, erlaubt und fördert.
Motiviert dank des Erfolges und der überaus positiven Reaktionen
der spezialisierten Medien sowie der Teilnehmer, ist die
Vorbereitung der MITIL 2002 in vollem Gange.
In Erwartung der neuen Website www.mitil.org ab Januar 2002,
steht schon folgendes fest:
- Rundfunk wird zu einem wichtigen Bestandteil des MITIL 2002
Programms.
- Es werden zwei Parallel Konferenz/Foren/Workshops von
international anerkannten Experten geführt: Rundfunk und
Fernsehen. Programme sind ab Februar 2002 auf der Website
ersichtlich.
- Die Ausstellung wird Lösungen anbieten, die den spezifischen
Bedürfnissen der Besucher entsprechen.
- Der Programm Markt, dank seinem einzigartigen On-line
Videokiosk, ist eine der Hauptattraktionen und bietet ein
umfassendes Programm-Panorama. Einladungen zur Teilnahme werden
ab Januar 2002 verfügbar sein.
- UNESCO ehrt MITIL 2002 mit deren Patronat
