THE PROGRAMME MARKET

List of available titles at the Videokiosk

THE VIDEOKIOSK

The Programme Market is MITIL's first priority. Selling, buying, exchanging, and arranging coproductions is what it's all about.

Producers, Programmers, Broadcasters are invited to send in tapes to be shown at our fully searchable electronic VideoKiosk during individual or public screenings.

Security: MITIL guarantees that all submitted titles to the Videokiosk are used for this purpose only and excludes any circulation of these programmes outside the event itself.

NEW: The electronic database, created for this purpose, could remain accessible to all registered participants for further use in an online platform - to be built shortly. All producers who have submitted a title will be notified and the decision to be included in this database is subject to their own and only decision.

>>>MITIL does NOT act as an "agent" or "distributor" for submitted programmes!
We only provide the platform for the screening and searching of the programmes. Buyers and sellers have to make direct contact in order to close the deal between them.

In addition, your programme may take part in the MITIL AWARDS. Please specify in the online registration form.

A "one-time" fee of Euros 50.- per entry will be charged to cover the digitalization expenses and for creating the videokiosk database.
No other fees will be payable!

NB. - You do not need to attend as a Participant in order to register a TV Programme in the Market (Videokiosk). Both registrations are independent of each other.

Floorplans:

LAW CENTER

NEW! A "Law Centre" will, in addition, be available in the Exhibition & Market Hall where participants can obtain on the spot free expert advice on matters and issues relative to the circulation of TV programmes (how to negotiate, the questions you should be aware of, how to draw up a contract, copyright issues, etc.)

MITIL AWARDS

A selection of submitted entries is entitled to participate in the competition for the MITIL Awards.

  • The goals of this competition are:
    - to encourage the creation of original works made by/for independent and local broadcasters
    - to assist in the exchange of programmes between producers and independent and local and broadcasters
    - to facilitate co-production relations and exchange among broadcasters

All programmes which are available at the VideoKiosk may take part in the MITIL Awards competition without further charge. Just select this option in the online registration form.
