UK Marketing Agent
Costa Haralambis,
President-Founder
It was while visiting a well-known broadcast convention that Costa had
the idea of creating MITIL. This idea became a reality thanks to the great
help he had from close local relations and friends with whom he founded
the Association.
As President, Costas skills and experiences are ideally suited to
motivate and direct MITIL's talented organisation team.
A former photo-reporter, Costa then became a film director and, thereafter,
a film & video producer. After directing three full length docu-feature
films in the 70's, he produced several corporate and promotional videos
during the 80's with his company MEDIAPROFILE prior to founding ICI-TV
in 1994 (the first local cable TV on the Swiss Riviera, still based and
broadcasting in Vevey-Montreux). Costa left the ICI-TV management in mid-2000
to establish himself as an independent producer (WebstyleTV.com)
and to create MITIL and launch, later on, the brand new online market
for TV programmes: market4tv.com
Xavier Kempf, Commercial Executive Officer
Xavier does not claim to be an expert in broadcasting or even webcasting.
He believes, however in broad-mindedness.
His main field of action for the last quarter of the past century has
been show business. Not the one most people think of first of all, but
the business of running conventions and trade shows.
He has even acquired some knowledge in the very special domain of organising
tradeshows in broadcasting, one of which was dedicated to Radio exclusively,
plus another in the TV field, with some 300 exhibitors.
He looks forward to dealing with you. You may do so in English, Schwiizertitsch,
Hochdeutsch, Français, Italiano, y, de manera despacio, tambien en Español.
Renee Crawford, General Secretary
Born and raised in Scotland, Renee "emigrated", not as her countrymen-
and women of the past did, to the other end of the world, but, first of
all, to Brussels, before settling down on the Swiss Riviera in 1980.
She has, since 1990, been very closely involved in the organisation/coordination
of international conferences relative to the world of broadcasting (tv,
radio and electronic cinema).
Thanks to her experience in this field, plus her particular contacts with
the media industry in Eastern and Central Europe, Renee has proved to
be a key member of the MITIL team.
